Roswell UFO crash
Roswell UFO crash :
In 1947 an object is supposed to have crashed in the vicinity of Roswell, New Mexico which was alleged to have recovered by the government.
It was a UFO, allegedly an extra-terrestrial spacecraft and its alien occupants.
Since the 70's this event has been the talking point as in why the government covered up the Roswell UFO crash. It is said that the alien occupants were also taken in custody by the military and put somewhere in area-51.
The United States Armed Forces maintains that what was recovered was debris from an experimental high-altitude surveillance balloon belonging to a classified program named "Mogul" however, many UFO proponents maintain that an alien craft was found and its occupants were captured.
The incident has turned into a widely known pop culture phenomenon, making the name Roswell synonymous with UFOs. It ranks as the most publicized and controversial of alleged UFO incidents.

Why did the Government cover up the Roswell UFO Crash?
According to accounts of the people and important personnel who witnessed the crash, it has been reported that the government did intentionally cover up the whole incidence.
According to one of the witnesses Jesse Marcel who was approached in 1978 by the researchers he said that the material he found on the crash site was exotic.
Roswell Crash Witness's Testimony as Recorded
Jesse Marcel one of the witnesses of the Roswell UFO crash, and in 1978 testified for the government and said, "We were told to shut our mouths other wise bad things would happen to us as well as our families."
Then in 1978 some years before his death he was asked by the reporters what he testified, he said there "There was all kinds of stuff—small beams about three eighths or a half inch square with some sort of hieroglyphics on them that nobody could decipher. These looked something like balsa wood, and were about the same weight, except that they were not wood at all.
They were very hard, although flexible, and would not burn....One thing that impressed me about the debris was the fact that a lot of it looked like parchment. It had little numbers with symbols that we had to call hieroglyphics because I could not understand them.
They could not be read, they were just like symbols, something that meant something, and they were not all the same, but the same general pattern, I would say. They were pink and purple.
They looked like they were painted on. These little numbers could not be broken, could not be burned. I even took my cigarette lighter and tried to burn the material we found that resembled parchment and balsa, but it would not burn—wouldn't even smoke. But something that is even more astonishing is that the pieces of metal that we brought back were so thin, just like tinfoil in a pack of cigarettes.
I didn't pay too much attention to that at first, until one of the boys came to me and said: "You know that metal that was in there? I tried to bend the stuff and it won't bend. I even tried it with a sledgehammer. You can't make a dent on it," Marcel said""
